The Antique Parlour

Old European Cut Diamonds

Old European cut diamonds were cut by hand between the late 1800s and early 1900s — round stones with high crowns, small tables, open culets, and broad facets designed to glow under candlelight rather than glitter under showroom LEDs. Peer into one and you'll see the small polished window at its center: the fingerprint of a genuine antique diamond.

This is our largest diamond specialty: old European cut engagement rings, cocktail rings, studs, and line bracelets from the Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco eras, many with GIA certification. Because each stone was cut by eye, no two are alike — and neither are their settings.

Every piece is one of a kind and authenticated in-house. Domestic orders ship free, fully insured, by express delivery; layaway is available, and private viewings can be arranged by appointment in Great Neck, New York, or over FaceTime.
